The Govt. of Mizoram appointed ZIDCO as an Implementing Agency for setting up of Integrated Infrastructure Development Centre (IIDC) in Lunglei district.
Construction of the first one IIDC with a Project cost of Rs. 4.81 crores was started in the year 2003 and completed in the month of March 2005. The centre was inaugurated by Hon’ble Chief Minister of Mizoram. The said IIDC centre was located at Pukpui, near Lunglei town (South Mizoram). The IIDC's are financed by Govt. of India, Ministry of SSI (now MSME) and Govt. of Mizoram in the ratio of 80:20.
